Welcome to Kwon's Karate website. We offer classes in Soo Bahk Do, a traditional Korean martial art. We're proud to have been teaching in Manhasset for almost 20 years and New Hampton for 10 years. Our students range in age and ability, from four years old to almost 70, and from beginner (white belt) to experienced practitioner (black belt). In addition to Soo Bahk Do, we have fitness classes and special self-defense classes just for women. We're a family-oriented studio and have entire families that train with us.

About Master Hyuk Youn Kwon

Our Head Instructor HY Kwon, an 8^th degree black belt and one of the highest ranking members in the world SooBahkDo MooDuckKwan federation. His teaching style is traditional and yet creative, so his students practice estabilised self defense techniques while learning to adapt to any situation. We also have a number of experienced master instructors who teach in the same style and spirit as Master HY Kwon.
